A new front door and a deeper reading library.
Added the homepage, Start Here guide, 26 explanatory articles, a curated evidence library, audience reading paths, glossary, and methods pages. The new handover and dependency explainers introduce individual mechanisms before the full models.
Rollback Lab moved to its own page. Existing scenario links and old technical section bookmarks continue to open the appropriate model. The story remains at its existing address, with shared site navigation.
The underlying reconstruction and human-outcome equations were retained. This expansion reorganizes and explains the argument; it does not recalibrate the model’s numerical assumptions.
Corrections and evidence revisions
- 23 September 2026: Clarified the Anthropic code statistic as code merged into its codebase, removing the narrower word “production” that the source did not establish.
- 23 September 2026: Clarified that OpenAI’s compaction-summary observations came from an unreleased research training run, distinct from the final Astra model.
This dated record begins with the expanded edition. New substantive corrections will identify what changed, why, and which pages were affected.
